BARBER

Originally from Italy, I now call New Zealand home. As a third-generation hairdresser, I grew up surrounded by craft and developed an appreciation for it from an early age. I now have over 16 years of experience in the industry, after first training in Sydney.

My focus is on precision cutting for men’s hair. Every year, I invest in precision cutting education to continue refining my skills and to continue learning about myself as an artist.

Inspired by nature, mindfulness, and my practice of Ashtanga yoga, I value posture, movement, and presence. These principles influence the way I work, helping me stay focused on the finer details while providing a calm, considered, and welcoming experience for every client.

BARBER

Originally from Brazil and now based in Aotearoa New Zealand, I’m a fourth-generation barber with 19 years of experience behind the chair. Barbering has been part of my family for generations, and it’s a craft I’m proud to carry on.

I love helping people look and feel their best, whether it’s a fresh haircut, a clean fade, or a classic style. I’m always learning and refining my skills, including training at Schorem Barbier in Rotterdam.

For me, barbering is about more than great haircuts it’s about building relationships, creating a welcoming experience, and making sure every client leaves the shop feeling confident and comfortable.

I look forward to meeting you, sharing a cup of coffee, having a good conversation, and helping you look and feel your best.

I am Taise, Brazilian, and I have been cutting hair for 12 years . My foundation in hairstyling is built on Pivot Point techniques, combined with visagism and attentive listening. I believe that every person carries a unique universe within them, and the more I understand that universe, the better I can create a look that reflects who they are and how they want to be seen.

I believe in caring for my clients as individuals. Every haircut is an opportunity to make someone feel seen, valued, and loved. To me, cutting hair is an art, but without purpose, it loses its meaning. I use my skills and experience to serve my clients, helping them feel confident and cared for. Through this approach, I honor God and bring meaning to every style I create.

I began my barbering journey in Brazil, where I built the foundations of my craft through professional training and hands-on experience.

Now based in New Zealand, I work in a multicultural environment, serving clients with a wide range of backgrounds, styles and preferences. This experience has helped me develop a strong understanding of modern barbering trends and the importance of providing professional, personalised and consistent service.

Specialising in fades, beard grooming, and modern haircuts, my work is defined by precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to client satisfaction. My goal is to understand each client’s individual needs and create a look that combines technique, style, and personality.

APPRENTICE

Hi, I’m Isiah, a barber apprentice. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the confidence a great haircut can give someone. I feel fortunate to be building a career doing something I truly enjoy every day.

Over the past 1½ years, I’ve had the opportunity to train under the guidance of some of the best barbers in the industry. During this time, I’ve developed my skills across a wide range of cuts and styles while learning the importance of attention to detail and creating a great experience for every client.

Outside of barbering, I’ve always been drawn to creative and active pursuits, from spending time in the ocean to challenging myself in the gym. Those interests have helped shape my mindset, teaching me discipline, consistency, and the value of continually improving my craft.
